Overview

The Association of Alaska Housing Authorities is hosting a two (2) day online training on Indian Housing Plan (IHP)/Annual Performance Report (APR). The IHP/APR are the most critical submissions required by the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA). Recipients are required to submit the IHP to HUD at least 75 days prior to the start of their 12-month program year, and the APR is due 90 days after the end of the recipient’s program year. This workshop will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the IHP and APR requirements, the process for developing the local IHP, tracking activities for the APR, step-by-step process for completing the report template, current reference materials related to the IHP and APR, and an overview of the HUD’s EPIC on-line reporting system. The workshop also incorporates discussion and case studies to facilitate networking and to assist participants in being prepared to complete their IHP and APR.
