Overview
AAHA is hosting a 2-day training on Alternative Funding Opportunities. The training will focus on how to develop, finance and manage Tribal affordable housing projects utilizing NAHASDA and other gap financing programs. Participants will learn about the steps necessary when planning an affordable housing project, determining the type of funding needing, how to secure appropriate GAP financing, leveraging NAHASDA funds; managing investor expectations; and the importance of compliance with program rules and requirements.
Trainer- Rob Jordan Rob Jordan is the owner of the consulting firm, Dare to Know LLC. Rob has over a decade of experience providing clear, concise, and cogent solutions for housing entities, non-governmental organizations, and executives. He developed High Quality Standards and Uniform Physical Conditions Standards trainings, and organized the Developing Alaska's Sustainable Housing (DASH) 2012 conference for Association of Alaska Housing Authorities (AAHA).
