Overview
AAHA is hosting an in-person, hands-on, 3-day Environmental Review workshop to provide HUD recipients with the necessary skills to ensure full compliance with the requirements of 24 CFR Part 58. Participants will become familiar with: duties and functions of responsible entities; achieving compliance with NEPA and related laws, executive orders, and regulations; preparing environmental review records; making environmental review determinations, identifying environmental impact; the consultation process, public notices and comment periods; processing the request for release of funds; and ERR self-monitoring. Please bring a copy of an IHP (current or past) for practice purposes.
Trainer
Shannon Reynaga an experienced local ERR Officer and Project Manager with AHA since 2008. He has attended, tested, and passed many HUD related courses relevant to his position.
