Overview
AAHA is hosting a two (2) day training for Executive Directors, in Anchorage, AK. This training will focus on developing effective leadership skills to enable the executive director or housing manager to create a high functioning organization or department. Topics will include: Housing Director, skills and duties; Executive Director and Board of Commissioner relationships; Strategic Planning; NAHASDA overview of statutory and regulatory requirements; Compliance policies, monitoring and reporting; and Financial Management.
Trainer
Griffin Hagle-Forster is Executive Director of the Association of Alaska Housing Authorities, with deep experience in tribal and rural housing, building performance, and cold-climate housing solutions. His leadership background with regional housing authorities and HUD/NAHASDA programs positions him to deliver practical, governance-focused Executive Director training for RHAs and TDHEs.
