Instructions on how to access the virtual training and a link to electronic materials will be emailed prior to the training date.

Technology Needed

The training will be presented via an online platform. Participants will need a computer, laptop, smart device (such as a tablet) with internet or WiFi connection or telephone. An email address will be required for each registered participant. A web camera is not required.

Overview

AAHA will host a two (2) day training to provide participants with a solid foundation for complying with the self-monitoring requirements of NAHASDA and 2 CFR 200, and to provide strategies and insights that recipients can utilize to make self-monitoring an effective tool to accomplish their goals. This training will emphasize the development of local self-monitoring plans that are appropriate and effective for the size and needs of the recipient’s program. The training will provide participants with the most current information on the requirements as well as the tools that are available to support recipient self-monitoring.

Trainer

Rob Jordan is Co-Owner of Dare to Know LLC., a built environment consulting firm. Rob has more than a decade of experience providing clear, concise, and cogent solutions for housing entities, non-governmental organizations, and executives. He developed the curriculums for the High Quality Standards, Uniform Physical Condition Standards, Grant Writing, QuickBooks Intermediate/Advanced trainings, and organized the Developing Alaska's Sustainable Housing (DASH) 2012 conference for the Association of Alaska Housing Authorities (AAHA). Rob holds an MA and BA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He has served as an Executive Director, President, CEO, Program Manager, Grants Administrator, and Data Manager during his career.
