Overview

The Association of Alaska Housing Authorities is hosting a two (2) day virtual training on Indian Housing Plan (IHP)/Annual Performance Report (APR). The IHP/APR are the most critical submissions required by the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA). This online workshop will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the IHP and APR requirements, the process for developing the local IHP, tracking activities for the APR, step-by-step process for completing the report template and current reference materials related to the IHP and APR. The workshop also incorporates discussion and case studies to facilitate networking and to assist participants in being prepared to complete their IHP and APR.

During this time, he developed expertise in all aspects of housing and government program administration including planning, program design, construction, contract administration, occupancy and compliance with federal program requirements.
