Overview
AAHA is hosting a two (2) day training on the Indian Housing Plan (IHP)/Annual Performance Report (APR). The IHP/APR are the most critical submissions required by the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA). This training will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the IHP and APR requirements, the process for developing the local IHP, tracking activities for the APR, step-by-step process for completing the report template and current reference materials related to the IHP and APR. The training also incorporates discussion and case studies to facilitate networking and to assist participants in being prepared to complete their IHP and APR.
Trainer
Rob Jordan is the owner of Dare to Know LLC., a built environment consulting firm. Rob has over a decade of experience providing clear, concise, and cogent solutions for housing entities, non-governmental organizations, and executives. He developed High Quality Standards and Uniform Physical Conditions Standards trainings, and organized the Developing Alaska's Sustainable Housing (DASH) 2012 conference for Association of Alaska Housing Authorities (AAHA). Rob holds an MA and BA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He has served as an Executive Director, President, CEO, Program Manager, Grants Administrator, & Data Manager during his career.
